Postdoctoral Fellowships


The Faculty of Philosophy is participating in the project "Postdoctoral Fellowship Implementation in Lithuania".
Projects are funded according to the Measure for Enhancing Mobility of Scholars and Other Researchers and the Promotion of Student Research (VP1-3.1-ŠMM-01) under the Program of Human Resources Development Action Plan.

 The goals of Postdoctoral Fellowships are:

-  upgrading the qualifications and competencies of scholars;
-  promoting the researcher mobility between sectors, fields, institutions, and countries, as well as the mobility between the public and private sectors.

 Eligibility Conditions

Scholars from Lithuania and abroad who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree within the period of 3 years (maternal and childcare leave are not taken into account) may apply for the Postdoctoral Fellowships Funding Competition. The duration of the Fellowships is up to 2 years. Prospective Applicants may come from the scientific fields of the social sciences, humanities, physical sciences, biomedical sciences and technological sciences. Postdoctoral fellowships are assigned for scientific research or R&D projects which are supervised by a scientist employed by the host institution.
