Diana Mincytė yra Niujorko miesto universiteto (CUNY) sociologijos docentė. Jos moksliniai tyrimai daugiausia dėmesio skiria pilietiškumui; aplinkosaugos, maisto ir žemės ūkio politikai; mokslo ir technologijų sociologijai; ir feminizmo politikai. Stažavosi ir atliko tyrimus Europos studijų programoje Harvardo universitete ir buvo kviestinė mokslininkė Rachel Carson centre aplinkosaugos studijoms Ludwig Maximilians universitete Miunchene; Jeilio universiteto agrarinių studijų programoje; ir Europos ir Viduržemio jūros regiono studijose Niujorko universitete.

Mokslinių tyrinėjimų sritys: Aplinkos sociologija; maisto ir aplinkos politika; darbas ir žemės ūkis; feminizmo politika, pilietiškumas ir savarankiškumas; istorinės-lyginamosios studijos.
