Apie seminarą:

This seminar offers a comprehensive exploration of the intersection between cognitive neuroscience and educational practices and introduces foundational concepts in the educational neuroscience field. Key topics include neuroplasticity, memory, and cognitive development, with insights into how these processes shape learning outcomes. The seminar also highlights strategies to enhance teaching methods, curriculum design, and classroom environments to support student engagement and achievement.

A critical component of the seminar involves addressing common neuromyths - misconceptions about the brain and learning. Participants will identify and challenge these myths through interactive activities, such as quizzes and group reflection, fostering a more informed and evidence-based perspective on educational practice.

This session will share examples and insights from research and initiatives developed in Portugal, offering a localized lens on how the field of Mind, Brain, and Education is being translated into practice.
