Br. Mariusz Tabaczek, O.P. - kviestinis dėstytojas popiežiškojo Šv. Tomo Akviniečio universitete (Angelicum) ir Angelicum tomistų institute (Roma, Italija), dominikonas ir teologas, filosofinės teologijos daktaro laipsnį įgijęs Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA. Jis specializuojasi gamtos mokslų ir teologijos dialoge, įvairiuose filosofiniuose bei teologiniuose evoliucijos teorijos aspektuose. Domisi natūraliąja teologija, gamtos filosofija, mokslo (ypač biologijos) filosofija, metafizika.

We invite you to a second Sed Contra event!
On the 6th of February in 201 room at VU Faculty of Philosophy, we will host a two-event cycle:
13.00-14.30 a discussion “Science and religion: can they coexist in the modern world?” between Fr. Mariusz Tabaczek, O.P., Angelicum University, and Prof. Naglis Kardelis, Vilnius University Faculty of Philosophy, moderated by Asist. Dr. Monika Morkūnaitė, Vilnius University Faculty of Philosophy.
17.00-18.30 Fr. Mariusz Tabaczek will give a talk “Theological and biological anthropogenesis”.
Fr. Mariusz Tabaczek, O.P., is an invited professor at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) and in the Angelicum Thomistic Institute (Rome, Italy), a Dominican and theologian, who holds a PhD in philosophical theology from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA. He specialises in natural sciences-theology dialogue, various philosophical and theological aspects of the theory of evolution. He is interested in natural theology, philosophy of nature, philosophy of science (biology in particular), and metaphysics.
