Apie lektores
Dr. hab. Dorota Szaban’s research focuses on the sociology of youth, generational studies, the sociology of the internet and new technologies, education and lifelong learning, the social dimensions of health and illness, and social conflicts—particularly in small communities. Her work places strong emphasis on social research methodology (both quantitative and qualitative) and on the practical application of empirical research in social diagnosis and regional analysis.
Dr. Magdalena Pokrzyńska conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of sociology, social anthropology, and linguistics, focusing on issues of cultural heritage, religion and language, collective memory, as well as regional and ethnic identity. At the core of her work are processes of sustaining, reinterpreting, and the gradual disappearance of traditions within local communities, particularly in the context of migration and historical experience, as well as minority conditions.
